KIEV, 11 Aug. The statement on the possible deployment of US air defense systems on the territory of Ukraine should be considered only as a hypothetical option, said the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Sergey Nikiforov on Wednesday.
The Foreign Ministry reacted to Ukraine's statements on the deployment of US air defense «I think that Mr. Reznikov's statement should be interpreted not as an intention, but as a hypothetical opportunity or a hypothetical option to strengthen security in Ukraine. This is not something that Ukraine seriously expects to invite the Americans for the establishment of military bases.
