Earlier, Turkish media reported that in Alanya, a motorcyclist knocked down an 81-year-old Russian woman who was trying to cross the road. The police are investigating, the motorcycle driver has been detained. «We confirm the death of a Russian citizen as a result of an accident in Alanya. The circumstances of this tragic incident are being investigated by local law enforcement agencies. The Consulate General is in touch with the relatives of the deceased. They are being provided with the necessary consular assistance,» the Russian diplomatic mission said.
