KIEV, 12 aug. The Ukrainian security service has banned Russian singer Philip Kirkorov from entering the country for a period of three years, UNN reported, citing the SBU. In June, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine included Kirkorov on the list of persons who pose a threat to national security. Later, the press service of the Ministry of Culture reported that Kirkorov was excluded from the blacklist due to a new appeal from the Security Service. «In the interests of ensuring the national security of Ukraine … On June 7, 2021, the Security Service of Ukraine decided to ban the entry of the person you requested (Kirkorov — ed.) to the territory of Ukraine for a period of three years, «- reports UNN SBU message, received in response to the agency's request. In August 2015, the ministry released a list of cultural figures, including those from Russia, who «pose a threat to the national security» of Ukraine. Among the artists included in the list were Oleg Gazmanov, Iosif Kobzon, Valeria Perfilova (stage name Valeria), Sergei Penkin, Alexander Rosenbaum, Yulia Chicherina. The list is regularly updated.
