The criminal case after an accident with a bus in Voronezh was initiated under an article on performing work or providing services that did not meet safety requirements, Svetlana Petrenko, an official representative of the RF IC, told reporters. On Thursday evening, a PAZ shuttle bus exploded near the Chizhova Gallery shopping center in Voronezh. Rescuers and law enforcement agencies work at the scene.
«A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under paragraph» in «part 2 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the fact of improper provision of services for the transportation of passengers, which, through negligence, caused serious harm to the health of citizens,» Petrenko said.
She added that, according to preliminary data, 14 people were injured, one of the victims later died. Earlier, the regional health department reported that 16 people were injured in the emergency, the girl with a separation of the lower third of the lower leg died in intensive care.
