MOSCOW, 13 Aug. An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 struck southwest of the South Sandwich Islands in the South Atlantic Ocean, according to the US Geological Survey (UGSS). The earthquake was recorded at 10.34 UTC (13.34 Moscow time). The epicenter of the tremors was located southwest of the islands. The hearth lay at a depth of 10 kilometers.
