MOSCOW, 15 Sep. Ukraine not only has no chance of winning the war with Russia, but is also approaching the crisis of its statehood due to constant attempts to provoke Moscow. Director of the Ukrainian Institute of Politics Ruslan Bortnik said this on the air of the NASH TV channel. According to the expert, Kiev is aware of the need for war, but it should contribute to strengthening diplomatic activities aimed at achieving a more profitable peace.
«Can we defeat Russia in the war? What are we, idiots? We have no chance,» Bortnik concluded, adding that endless provocations from Kiev only accelerate the process of the disintegration of Ukrainian statehood.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that there is a high probability of a full-scale clash with Russia, but the war between the two states will be «Moscow's biggest mistake.»
