TOKYO, 15 Sep. Pfizer Japan said it found contaminants in 95 ampoules of the coronavirus vaccine in different parts of the country until September 5, the company said it did not affect the vaccine's safety. In terms of safety, as they are an undissolved sediment, Kyodo reported. Regarding reports of some impurities in the vaccine lot FF53357, received from September 13 from different regions of the country, the company said that it is studying the issue and will report the results to the public. The company claims that sometimes a white undissolved precipitate can be seen, but even if it does not dissolve when the ampoule is inverted, there are no safety concerns when vaccinating. Starting September 13, from different parts of Japan — Hino in Tokyo Prefecture, Sagamihara and Kamakura in Prefecture Kanagawa, Sakai in Osaka, Kawagoe in Saitama — there are reports of impurities in the Pfizer vaccine.
