However, as Vitrenko noted, the extension of the contract does not in itself provide sufficient guarantees to maintain pumping through Ukraine. «This requires, first of all, contracts with European companies,» added the head of Naftogaz. On Wednesday, Vitrenko held talks on the situation with the transit of gas to the EU with a German delegation. It was headed by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Energy and Economics Andreas Feicht.
