MOSCOW, 16 Sep. The DPRK has tested a railway missile system, reports the North Korean Central Telegraph Agency (TsTAK).
«The test was aimed at confirming the practical applicability of the railway mobile missile system, first deployed for operation,» the agency said in a statement.
It is noted that the test took place on the morning of September 15, the shells flew 800 kilometers before reaching the target at sea. The DPRK on Wednesday launched two ballistic missiles from Yandok County in Pyongannam-do province towards the Sea of Japan. The shells flew at an altitude of 60 kilometers or more.
