The star of the Golden Age of Hollywood, American actress, singer and dancer Jane Powell, has passed away at 93, according to the New York Times, citing actress friend Susan Granger. According to Granger, Powell passed away on Thursday, September 16 at her home in Connecticut. Actress Jane Powell is best known for her roles in the musicals «The Royal Wedding» (1951) and «Seven Brides for Seven Brothers» (1954) by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Powell was also known for her musical creativity and took an active part in theatrical performances. TV series with her participation, including «Law & Order.
