At 8.00 local time (6.00 Moscow time), polling stations were opened in the Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Orenburg regions, Khanty -Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts, Bashkiria and Perm Territory. An hour later, at 8.00 (7.00 Moscow time), sites in Udmurtia, Samara, Astrakhan and Ulyanovsk regions began to work.
