MOSCOW, 17 Sep. The State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan has submitted to the State Duma a bill envisaging an increase in fines for improper handling of weapons, the document is available in the base of the lower house of parliament. «The bill proposes to increase the size of corresponding administrative fines up to five thousand rubles «, — written in the explanatory note to the bill.
The Russians approve of the ban on the free sale of weapons, the survey showed. Amendments are being made to Article 20.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. In particular, for violation of the rules for storing, carrying or destroying weapons and ammunition for it, it is proposed to establish a fine of five thousand rubles. At the moment, it is from five hundred to two thousand rubles. In addition, mandatory confiscation of weapons is established from citizens who wore them while intoxicated, as well as those who refused the legal requirement of a police officer or an official of the National Guard troops to undergo a medical examination. It is proposed to increase the fine up to five thousand rubles for violating the rules for collecting or exhibiting weapons and ammunition for them, as well as for violating the rules for acquiring or transferring weapons, if the actions do not contain signs of a criminal offense.
