The turnout in the elections to the State Duma in Kabardino-Balkaria exceeded 50% by 4 pm on the second day of voting, the republican election committee told reporters. «As of 4 pm Moscow time on Saturday, 273,206 people or 50.71% of voters have voted,» said the representative of the election commission. Kabardino-Balkaria, along with the State Duma deputies, elect the deputies of municipalities. Voting takes place from 17 to 19 September at 355 polling stations. According to the regional electoral commission, on the first day of elections, the turnout in the KBR was 35.21%.
