Ripe bananas are usually pale yellow in color, and some are slightly golden. Although the latter color indicates that the bananas are fully ripe, they will taste very sweet and pleasant, according to the publication. It is noted that bananas of different ripeness have different degrees of firmness. Unripe bananas will feel hard and the skin will not be elastic. Overripe bananas will be soft, but they leave a «sticky» feeling on the inside.
