According to the head of the Public Headquarters for monitoring elections in Moscow, Alexei Venediktov, two-thirds of the registered voters have already voted remotely — 1.38 million out of 2.14 million. The State Duma, as well as regional and municipal levels are held this year from 17 to 19 September. The deputies of the lower house are elected for five years according to a mixed system: 225 people pass through party lists, another 225 — through single-mandate constituencies in one round.
