The ex-minister for housing and communal services gave a forecast.
The government is being disingenuous when it says that gas prices and heat tariffs will remain the same in the coming heating season. Gas tariffs from Naftogaz have increased. Therefore, the gas price, according to all the laws of logic, cannot remain the same in any way, reports with reference to.
This was stated in an interview with one of the Ukrainian media by the people's deputy from «Batkivshchyna» Oleksiy Kucherenko. Alexey Kucherenko, who served as Minister for Housing and Utilities for almost three years, and now in Parliament is the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Energy and Housing and Utilities Services, knows all the ins and outs of tariff setting.
So, according to Kucherenko, Denis Shmygal, who had to answer questions from the opposition deputies in the Verkhovna Rada, firmly stood his ground: gas and heat tariffs for the population would not rise. But at the same time, the tariffs for the enterprises of teplokommunenergo will become higher, the prime minister admitted. Due to what they compensate for the increase in tariffs — the deputies have not achieved a clear answer.
At the same time, all mayors of cities signal to Kiev that heat tariffs will rise, and very noticeably. And none of them knows what to do with this, because there are no compensators for this growth in local budgets. For example, Kievteploenergo has already calculated that the cost of heating one square meter of housing in the capital (without a heat meter) will be 54 hryvnia. Thus, for a two-room apartment with an area of 60 «squares» will have to pay 3240 hryvnia per month. And this is without the supply of hot water, which will also cost a pretty penny.
However, this applies more to urban residents who receive heat and hot water centrally.
In the villages, the situation is no better
But there are also quite a few villagers who receive gas through pipes directly to their homes and use it not only for cooking, but also for heating their homes. Such households, even with large savings, spend about 300-400 cubic meters of gas in winter.
Thus, if we take the gas tariff, which for most companies is equal to almost 8 hryvnia per cubic meter, and add to it the gas distribution tariff, which is close to two hryvnia, then in fact the cost of gas is about 10 hryvnia per cubic meter. This means that in winter such households will have to pay for gas for 3-4 thousand hryvnia per month. And you will have to heat it for at least 5 months.
As a result, it turns out that residents of private houses will have to pay at least 20-24 thousand hryvnia for gas for the heating season. It is clear that pensioners cannot afford such a luxury. And many young families will also have to sit in the cold.
