The Google Docs service has blocked two text documents from Alexei Navalny's team with Smart Voting recommendations for users from Russia. One document contains lists of candidates for the State Duma, the other contains candidates for regional legislative bodies.
When trying to open documents from Russia, a message is displayed stating that the documents violate the terms of use of the service. Both files are accessible via VPN.

Thus, Google has fulfilled the requirement of Roskomnadzor, which was announced earlier. A screenshot of the demand was published by Navalny's supporters on their Telegram channel.
In September, Roskomnadzor added the Smart Voting domain to the register of banned sites and demanded that Apple and Google remove Navalny's app, which contained lists of recommendations, from stores. The companies did this on the morning of September 17 — the first day of a three-day vote in the State Duma elections; according to the New York Times, they were threatened with criminal prosecution for their refusal.
On the evening of September 17, the Smart Voting bot was removed by the Telegram messenger; its founder Pavel Durov explained this by the demands of the “days of silence”.
On the evening of September 18, Youtube, at the request of Roskomnadzor, blocked in Russia two videos of the team of politician Alexei Navalny with the recommendations of Smart Voting.
