The turnout in the elections to the State Duma in the Rostov region according to the results of the second day of voting was 25.3%, excluding those who voted remotely, the regional election commission reports. Voting in the elections to the State Duma takes place from 17 to 19 September. Residents of the Rostov region also participate in the by-election of a deputy to the Legislative Assembly of the region and the distribution of deputy mandates in urban and rural settlements. In total, more than 2.5 thousand polling stations are organized in the region, the number of voters is 3 182 628. Remote electronic voting this year, according to the decision of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, takes place in Moscow, as well as in six other regions — Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Murmansk and Rostov regions and Sevastopol. 302 527 voters of the Rostov region applied for participation in remote electronic voting.
