In no case should we forget that the tire is the only part that connects the car to the roadway. And the tire contact patch — a very responsible area, therefore, the selection and purchase of winter tires must be approached very carefully. » — the expert pointed out. The type of winter tires is also different — they are studded and non-studded. Each type has its pros and cons, and the decision which one to choose depends on the way and place of the car's use. Studded tires behave better on off-road, snow, ice, but on open asphalt it can slip due to poor grip. Non-studded rubber is better suited for the city — it makes less noise when driving on asphalt, but has a shorter braking distance. In other words, you should pay attention not to the price, but to the quality characteristics, the expert concluded.
