The South Korean series Squid Game was the most successful launch in the history of Netflix streaming service. According to streaming on Twitter, 111 million users have watched the series since its release.
The series was released on September 17 and was able to achieve this result in less than a month. The previous record was held by the show “Bridgerton”, which in the month since its release was watched by 82 million households.

The Squid Game tells the story of a group of people who, out of dire need, take part in a secret survival tournament. The prize for the winner will be 45.6 billion won ($ 38.5 million). The series consists of nine episodes, all directed and written by Hwang Dong Hyuk.
