Nepomniachtchi and Carlsen draw game 7 of the World Crown Final

MOSCOW, Dec 4 Russian grandmaster Ian Nepomniachtchi tied with world champion Norwegian Magnus Carlsen in the seventh game of the match for the world chess crown in Dubai. The game, in which Nepomniachtchi played with white pieces, ended on move 41. The score in the confrontation became 4-3 in favor of the Norwegian. On Friday Nepomniachtchi was defeated, five previous games of the match ended in a draw. The eighth game will take place on Sunday, and Nepomniachtchi won the title match against Carlsen by winning the Candidates Tournament in Yekaterinburg in April. The match for the world crown consists of 14 classical chess games. In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided in a tie-break. The prize money for the World Championship match is 2 million euros.
