Calgary's NHL matches postponed amid coronavirus outbreak at club


MOSCOW Dec 13 NHL postponed Calgary Flames matches to at least 16 December due to an outbreak of coronavirus in a Canadian club, according to the league website. Six Calgary players, including Russian defender Nikita Zadorov, and one club employee were caught in the NHL coronavirus protocol within 24 hours. The league fears that new cases of coronavirus will be detected in Calgary in the near future, so the team's matches have been postponed until at least December 16. Calgary's training facilities are closed. The NHL is revising the calendar of the Canadian club. “Calgary” on Monday was to play “Chicago”, on Tuesday – with “Nashville”, on Thursday – with “Toronto”.
