MOSCOW, 2 Jan. The crew of the KAMAZ-master team under the control of Dmitry Sotnikov won the first stage of the Dakar rally-raid, which takes place in Saudi Arabia. Sotnikov covered the distance in 3 hours 53 minutes 14 seconds. The second place was taken by Eduard Nikolaev (KAMAZ-master), who was 38 seconds behind. The third time at the finish line was shown by Czech Ales Loprais (Instaforex Loprais Praga), who lost 9 minutes 15 seconds.
