Professor of the Department of Finance and Prices at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics Yulia Finogenova recommended retirement later and monetize benefits to increase the size of the pension without creating savings. «There are two options. The first is to retire later. Retirement is even five years later, it gives an increase to the insurance pension in the region of 40%, «the specialist noted in an interview with ura.ru. The second way is to refuse some benefits in favor of cash payments. Thus, you can add about one and a half thousand rubles a month to your pension, the economist believes. In addition, Finogenova recommended having a «white» salary for the sake of a larger number of individual pension points.
