MOSCOW, January 6 KHL regular championship match between Barys and Kazan Ak Barsom has been moved to Russia due to the unstable situation in Kazakhstan, according to the league's website. The match is to take place on January 17. It is noted that the KHL is considering the option of holding a meeting in Kazan. All issues are under discussion with interested parties, the league will inform about the decisions made additionally. On Wednesday, Metallurg Magnitogorsk in Nur-Sultan lost to Kazakhstan's Barys (2: 3) in the KHL regular championship. In connection with the massive protests continuing in Kazakhstan, the meeting was held without spectators with a guarantee of safety for the teams and players from the representatives of the host side. After the match, «Metallurg» was not immediately able to fly out of the country, the flight with the team was delayed for more than an hour. On Thursday Moscow time, Metallurg announced that the plane had landed at the Magnitogorsk airport.
