MOSCOW, Jan 7 Zenit St. Petersburg and Argentine defender Emanuel Mamman have reached agreement to terminate the contract, according to the website of the football club. Argentine media reported on Wednesday that Mammana had bought the contract from Zenit and would move to River Plate as a free agent. The footballer's agent Hernan Reger denied this information, but admitted that such an option is possible. The 25-year-old defender's contract with Zenit was due to expire in the summer of 2022. The Argentine moved to the St. Petersburg club in 2017 and during this time won two Russian championship titles and became the owner of the Russian Cup. In the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons, Mammana played for Sochi on loan. This season, Mammana played 4 matches for Sochi in the Russian Premier League and one match in the UEFA Conference League.
