MOSCOW, 8 Jan. At the Chinese airport in Hangzhou, a fire broke out on board the Tu-204 aircraft of the Russian airline Aviastar-TU, RBC writes. As the newspaper specifies, the aircraft arrived from Novosibirsk the day before. According to local media reports, the fire took place in the cabin, at that moment there were about 20 tons of cargo and 26 tons of fuel on the plane. Firefighters who arrived at the scene rescued eight crew members. The source of RBC, in turn, noted that the incident occurred during the towing of the aircraft to prepare for departure. Judging by the footage published in the AviaNews telegram channel, the Tu-204 was severely damaged and, most likely, cannot be restored.
