WASHINGTON Jan 9 The US and Russian delegations in the upcoming Geneva talks can lay the groundwork for the restoration of agreements on medium-range missiles, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said on Sunday. He also said that at the upcoming consultations in Geneva, the American delegation is ready to discuss with the representatives of Moscow the scale of military exercises in Eastern Europe, but not the number of American troops. «We are not considering (discussing) the number of troops,» the US Secretary of State stressed.
