MOSCOW, Jan 9 Multiple world skiing champion Teresa Joheug recognized as an athlete of the year in Norway, VG reports. The awards ceremony took place in Oslo. Last season, Joheug won four gold medals at the World Championships in Germany. «It was very amazing. There were a lot of strong girls with me in the nomination,» said the skier, who was unable to attend the ceremony. Athlete of the Year was named athlete Karsten Warholm, and his mentor Leif Olav Alnes became the coach of the year. Biathlete Sturla Holm Legrade became the best in the Breakthrough of the Year nomination. Team of the Year was the country's women's beach handball team, which refused to play in a bikini.
