MOSCOW, Jan 10 Russian Daniil Medvedev has reduced the gap from the Serb's first racket of the world Novak Djokovic in the updated version of the rating of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). The 2022 season in men's tennis began with the ATP Cup tournament, in which the Russians lost in the semifinals to the Canadian team, which eventually became the winner of the competition. Thanks to participation in the tournament, Medvedev scored 295 points, Djokovic in the new version of the rating lost 525 points. The gap between the Russian and the leader is 2080 points.
