Fire in the Bronx on Sunday NEW YORK, Jan 10 Mayor of New York Eric Adams confirmed that a fire in the Bronx on Sunday killed 19 people, including 9 children. «Today we lost 19 of our neighbors. It is an immense tragedy. Let's pray for those we have lost, especially the 9 innocent young lives that have ended today, «- wrote Adams on his Twitter. Earlier about the victims, citing official sources, told ABC News. Earlier it was noted that 63 people received various injuries from smoke and fire. At least 32 people were taken to city hospitals with life-threatening injuries. According to the TV channel, the city authorities call this fire the worst in the last 30 years.
