MOSCOW, Jan 13 US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken claims that the words of the Russian leadership allegedly differ from actions. As Blinken said in an interview with MSNBC, what the Russian authorities are doing is allegedly «going in the opposite direction» where Moscow says it would like to move. 
The Hill: The US is bluffing trying to «intimidate» Russia «If there is a challenge to European security, it does not come from NATO, but from Russia,» Blinken said. Blinken reiterated that NATO will not abandon the open door policy, and if the countries will meet the requirements for joining the organization, and its members support such a decision, the alliance will accept new members. Russia has repeatedly denied accusations of the West and Ukraine of «aggressive actions», stating that it does not threaten anyone and is not going to attack anyone, but statements of «Russian aggression» are being used as an excuse to deploy more NATO military equipment near Russian borders. In recent years, the Russian Federation has regularly drawn attention to the unprecedented NATO activity on its western borders. NATO is expanding initiatives and calls it «containing Russian aggression.»
