He covered the distance of 10 kilometers in 23 minutes 23.7 seconds, without allowing a single miss. Second place was taken by German Benedikt Doll (0 misses, 7.2 seconds back), third was Anton Smolsky (1 miss, +32.1 seconds) from Belarus. Maksim Tsvetkov, the best of the Russians, finished 21st with one penalty, 1 behind minute 6.3 seconds. Daniil Serokhvostov became 23rd (1 miss, +1.10.6), Alexander Povarnitsyn — 31st (1 miss, +1.19.1), Alexander Loginov — 32nd (2 misses, +1.19.5), Karim Khalili — 35th (2 misses, +1.20.8), Anton Babikov — 71st (2 misses, +2.06.8).
