As of January 12, the UGS was 49.33% full. A year earlier, the figure was significantly higher — almost 65%, and in 2020 — 83%.In Poland, they recognized the losses from the «capricious» struggle with Russian gas season, which began on October 13, the occupancy rate of European UGSFs has already decreased by almost 28%. According to Gazprom, as of January 10, the EU countries have withdrawn from underground storage facilities more than half of the volume of gas pumped last year — 55.6% (26.6 billion cubic meters).
