Kennedy and Richard Nixon, in an op-ed for the British online magazine Unherd. According to Malmgren, when during a lunch at one of the events in 1992 they discussed the problems of resolving business disputes, Putin said that in Russia, unlike the United States, these differences are resolved using common sense, since the conflicting parties send to meeting with armed men. According to Malmgren, this is the principle that Putin used in the context of disputes between sovereign states.
