MOSCOW, Jan 14 Russian tennis player Roman Safiullin failed to qualify for the main draw Australian Open. Safiullin in the final qualifying lost to Briton Liam Brody with a score of 6:4, 6:7 (2:7), 2:6. Tennis players spent 2 hours and 17 minutes on the court. In the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), the 24-year-old Russian takes 146th place. Earlier in January, Safiullin, together with the second racket of the world, Daniil Medvedev, reached the semifinals of the ATP Cup. The Australian Open main draw competitions will be held on January 17-30.
