MOSCOW, Jan 14 Two-time Olympic silver medalist Evgenia Medvedeva said in what is the secret of coach Eteri Tutberidze's success.
"We went through a lot with Eteri, there were many ups and downs between us. In Toronto, I discovered a completely different system, mood and rhythm of training. But there isn't much difference. The main secret is that Eteri does everything to be the best. She directs all her energy to the result", — Medvedeva quotes L'Equipe.
Medvedeva also named her favorite among young Russian figure skaters.
"I am very proud of Kamila Valieva, her jumps , flexibility, artistry. She does everything at the highest level. I just hope she can handle everything during the Olympics. I wish her all the best,» Medvedeva added.
Evgenia Medvedeva trained in the Tutberidze group until 2018, after which she moved to Canadian coach Brian Orser. In 2020, the skater returned to the Tutberidze group.
