The security forces tried to disrupt a concert in memory of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and Novaya Gazeta journalist Anastasia Baburova, which is due to take place on January 19 in Moscow. The Arkady Kots group announced this in the telegram channel.

The post says that the night before the club, where the concert was originally supposed to be held, received a phone call from the security forces. “With the help of threats against the directorate of the institution, the security forces managed to cancel the concert,” the group said.
As a result, the concert was moved to another venue: in addition to the Arkady Kots group, Alerta and Vadim Kurylev (Electropartizans) will perform at it.
Earlier, the Moscow mayor's office refused to coordinate the traditional march in memory of Markelov and Baburova. The city authorities do not agree on the action for the second year in a row.
