Earlier, local news portal Matangi Tonga reported about the eruption Mount Hunga Ha'apai in the South Pacific island nation of Tonga. Authorities have issued a tsunami warning. «A tsunami warning is currently in effect in American Samoa… There is currently a threat of dangerous tsunami waves flooding low-lying coastal areas,» the message reads.
