Italians Daniel Grassl and dancing couple Charlene Guignard/Marco Fabbri will not take part in demonstration performances at the European Figure Skating Championships in Tallinn. Fabbri on Saturday announced that the coach of the Italian dance couple, Barbara Fusar-Poli, had tested positive for coronavirus. Earlier in the day, Italy's Marina Piredda withdrew from the free skate at the European Championships due to medical reasons. Grassl finished second in the men's competition at the 2022 European Championships. The dance couple Guignard/Fabry won the bronze medals of the tournament.
