A boy who has been wanted since August 29, 2021 has been found dead.
< p> 11-year-old Maxim Samofalov from the Zaporozhye region, who was searched for since August last year, was found dead. Two men, aged 45 and 25, are suspected of being involved in his death.

Boy left home on August 28, 2021 and never returned
On January 16, Maxim's body was found in a cellar on the territory of a private house in the village of Akimovka, according to the National Police.
«I officially confirm: the boy, who was wanted since August 29, 2021, was found dead», — said Elena Lebedinskaya, press officer of the regional police.
The police promise to inform about the details of the case a little later, noting that the case is «very complicated».
Maxim Samofalov , a boarding school student left the house on August 28, 2021 at about 16:00. Since then, law enforcement officers and volunteers have been looking for him, but without success.
Two men kept the child in the basement for two weeks
«Two previously convicted men are suspected of committing a serious crime. The police are taking urgent measures to arrest them», — security officials reported.
The child's body was sent to the mortuary to determine the cause of death.
Law enforcement officers opened two criminal proceedings under Part 2, Part 3, Part 12 of Art. 115 «Deliberate murder» and part 3 of Art. 146 «Illegal imprisonment or kidnapping» of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The operatives found that two men born in 1976 and 1996 kidnapped the boy in August, kept him in the basement for two weeks, and then killed him.
The eldest of the suspects 9 years behind bars for serious crimes. Now the police are taking urgent measures to locate and detain the perpetrators.
