The Civil Registry Office (ZAGS) of the Rostov region forbade making noise and laughing during the wedding ceremony. The decision was published on the official portal of legal information of the region.
The head of the department, Olga Isaenko, told Komsomolskaya Pravda that such unwritten rules have always existed, this year they were simply included in official documents.
“We must remember that marriage is not a farce, and the registry office is not a place for jokes. This is the place where a new family is born. And usually people are imbued with this event, they may even cry. But if people are serious about this event, no one is laughing,” she stressed.
