MOSCOW, Jan 19 Anton Babikov and Alexander Povarnitsyn joined the Russian national team , which will perform at the European Championships in Arber, Germany, according to the Telegram channel of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU). Babikov and Povarnitsyn were called up to the Russian team this season to participate in the World Cup. They are included in the team for the Olympic Games in Beijing as substitutes. Vasily Tomshin, Ilnaz Mukhamedzyanov, Nikita Porshnev, Petr Pashchenko, Mikhail Pervushin will also compete in the men's team at the European Championship.
