MOSCOW, Jan 19 Representatives of world sports federations criticized the new principles of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) regarding transgender people. In particular, according to the Guardian, 38 specialists from the International Association of Athletics Federations (World Athletics), the International Cycling Union (UCI) and the International Rowing Federation (World Rowing) signed an appeal to the IOC calling for a review of their policy . These professionals include the heads of medical departments of the organizations. According to experts, the new IOC principles for transgender people prioritize inclusiveness over science, which is likely to lead to unfair competition in women's sports.
