Dzemin returned to the Russian national handball team after quarantine

MOSCOW, Jan 20 Left welterweight Evgeny Dzemin returned to the Russian national handball at the European Championships in Hungary and Slovakia after quarantine, according to the page of the Russian Handball Federation (FGR) in Vkontakte. On Saturday it became known that Dzemin's test for coronavirus gave a positive result after the first match of the European Championship with the Lithuanian team. He was isolated. According to the results of the next tests for coronavirus, the handball player received permission to rejoin the team.

"Yesterday and today he passed the tests. After that, there was a video call with Dr. Artem Kryntsilov and national team manager Evgeny Gostev, during which I was told that a car would be sent for me. The whole trip took about five hours. During quarantine in Kosice, he lived in an ordinary hotel in a small single room. It was impossible to leave the room, food was brought. I tried to keep myself in shape, every day I performed a set of exercises, which was sent by our physical training coach Vadim Popov. I feel great, the disease passed without symptoms, only one day I had a temperature", said Dzemin.
