MOSCOW, Jan 20 Polish «Polkowice» beat Russian «Nadezhda» in second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Women's European Basketball Cup. The meeting, held in Orenburg, ended with a score of 87:68 (20:14, 26:15, 22:18, 19:21) in favor of the guests. Polkowice center Artemis Spanu (21 points, 12 rebounds) became the top scorer. Nadezhda scored the most points with Adaora Elonu (15). According to the results of two meetings, the score was 162:140 (75:72) in favor of the Polish team. Rival «Polkowice» in the quarterfinals will be the winner of the confrontation between the Turkish club «Orman Genchlik» and the Spanish «Valencia».
