SeismographMAKHACHKALA, Jan 21 An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 hits the Caspian Sea off the coast of Dagestan , there are no casualties and no damage, the press service of the GUMCHS of Russia for the republic told reporters on Friday. «The seismic station of the Russian Academy of Sciences received information that a seismic event with a magnitude of 4.9 class 10 occurred in the Caspian Sea at 19.08. The tremors were felt by residents of the city of Kaspiysk. Information no damage or casualties have been reported,» the message reads.
