Archival photoMOSCOW, January 22Rada Deputy Ilya Kiva said on Telegram that the inconsistent rhetoric of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding the possibility of «Russian aggression» leads to panic and fear among the population. The politician recalled that on Wednesday the head states in a video message to the nation urged Ukrainians not to panic about the news about the «invasion» and not to believe fakes, and a day later in an interview with the Washington Post suggested that «a large-scale war with Russia» could begin with the occupation of Kharkov. «The absence of the president and his entourage generally some kind of strategy and understanding of what is happening, which further sows panic and fear among the population,» Kiva wrote. The parliamentarian also noted that Zelensky's statements had caused irreparable damage to business and investment projects in Kharkiv. Kiev and Western politicians in recent months claim that Russia has concentrated troops on the border with Ukraine. As Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov pointed out, the armed forces are moving within the territory of the state — this does not threaten anyone and should not worry anyone.
