President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against the Permanent Representative of the President of Russia in the North Caucasus, the former Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yuri Chaika, the document is published on the website of the head of state.
"Introduce the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated December 30, 2021 "On the application and cancellation of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)&# 34;, the document says.
A number of people have been published in the supplement, including Chaika. The list of restrictions includes: blocking of assets — a temporary restriction of a person's right to use and dispose of his property; preventing the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine; stop financial transactions. The restrictions are valid for «five years».
