MOSCOW, Jan 22 Russia's largest airline Aeroflot to perform more than 20 special flights for Russian Olympians who will go to the Winter Games in Beijing, the press service of the carrier reports. At the end of December, the airline already informed that Aeroflot would fully meet the needs of the Russian Olympic Committee in transporting the national team to Beijing for the Olympic Games. As noted carrier, the first flight will take place on January 22. «The logistics of Olympic air transportation has a number of features related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restriction of air traffic with China. Under the agreement with the Russian Olympic Committee, Aeroflot plans to operate more than 20 special flights to and from Beijing,» — the message says. «Aeroflot» notes that all conditions have been created on board the airline's aircraft for comfortable and safe transportation of passengers. The air conditioning and purification system in aircraft cabins is equipped with innovative HEPA filters, which eliminate pollution and microparticles, including viruses and bacteria, with an efficiency of 99.9%.
